About
Us
Chapter X2 was founded by RIDERS and continues to be
filled with participants that love to ride.
Often times we are blessed with participants from
other chapters joining us on our rides.
There are few weekends where there isn’t an event
on our calendar.
In addition to our weekend “day rides”, we
schedule overnight rides to places like the Texas Hill
Country to view the beautiful bluebonnets.
We have also been known to take a week or longer
to ride the roads of places like Colorado and Arkansas;
not to mention trips to attend Wing Ding. You will
also see us ride up at many of the other GWRRA chapter's
rallies and functions.
We
don’t stop with riding.
We love to eat…don’t most wingers?
We have Friday night dinners as a group, at
restaurants in the area.
We have had multiple progressive dinners to
celebrate Valentine’s Day and many gatherings at
participant’s homes.
Our gatherings can range anywhere from a pot luck
dinner, to a Super Bowl party, to a pool party. We
don't need much of an excuse to get together. We
also celebrate two functions annually. The first
is our chapter Birthday party where we serve the best
Bar-B-Q and all the trimmings. The second is our
chapter Christmas party complete with a white elephant
gift exchange.
We are
also very active in the community.
Giving back to the community is very important to
us. We have raised money and participated in many
charitable activities.
A couple of noteworthy causes we support each
year are the Ride for Kids Program and the North Houston
Foster Children Multi-Chapter Toy Run.
When
riding a motorcycle, safety cannot be stressed enough.
We boast several Level 4 Master Tour Riders in our
chapter and are known as a fun loving but safe group of
riders. We
maintain a trained group of Road Captains to make our
rides safe as we travel the roadways with our 4 wheeled
friends.
As you can see, we
congregate with many
FRIENDS
and have a lot of
FUN,
keeping
SAFETY
in mind, while continually enhancing our
KNOWLEDGE.
This enables us to maintain a chapter full of
great people.
Come by and visit, you may just like what you
see.
